The Mystery Shawl
I joined the Wendy Johnson groupies (and I mean that in a good way) who are knitting the mystery shawl she designed. Every week she gives a new clue (read, a new part of the pattern) and away we go... So far, so good. First time for me this lace knitting...and I like it. It is no mindless knitting, though. I have to stay alert and focused. Other wise I will end up with something completely different than the rest...

I am using 100% wool from Aade Long. I think it is spun and deyed in Estonia. It feels a bit rough but it gets softer while working with it and the colors they have are amazing. Bought it at De Vlotte Knot . Where else?
Working on it whenever I can...
These socks started their life in France. On the beach.
See, they even look French.
Got finished under the Dutch sun.
Didn't even have to bribe her this time to do some modelling. She saw they were finished. She put them on. Just like that.
Started these socks a few weeks ago while waiting for the repairman to come and fix my very very flat tire...
Last sunday I started some winter mittens.
These mix and match cuties were a present for my pregnant new sister in law.
